g'day, i'm dave..

​

apart from taking photos for a living, I'm a husband to Pauline and dad to Katie and Mitch (+ Roxy the border collie).

 

when I'm not shooting something awesome I love surfing, snow-skiing, ocean swimming, playing golf, paddling my surfski, travelling, walking in nature and catching up with friends for a coffee or a meal. i'm a volunteer lifesaver at Sunshine Beach Surf Club and ocean swim a few mornings each week at Noosa with my social swim group 'the Black Marlins'. I'm also a keen golfer, and current member at Cooroy Golf Club

after travelling the world in my early 20's, then a 20+ year career in Sydney working for major newspaper and magazine publishers, our family moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2012 and as they say, it was the best decision ever! 

​

since then, i've become an established part of the Sunshine Coast community and am head photographer at a huge range of local sports, community and corporate events, along with shooting plenty of commercial work and about 30-40 weddings each year.

​I love capturing moments, memories and helping local businesses improve their marketing via great images.
